PORTFOLIO

Two children playing in the sandbox at my home childcare program. This is my current professional embodiment. It’s been an exciting foray into programming for a smaller group, building strong connections with families and learning the challenges of being the sole operator and wearing so many hats.
Infant sensory bin curated for Valentine’s Day. As much as I reject the dated practice of following themes in a classroom, I am interested in providing aesthetic that suits experiences throughout children’s lives. I had a lot of fun with this one.
During the early months of the pandemic, I was working with families by posting on a blog. This image is from an invitation setup to support children’s discovery of circles.

Early learning and care is about shared discovery, creating opportunities and contexts for growth that are rooted in healthy relationships. The learning community is made up of educators, children, their families- as well as the spaces that hold us. We embark on a collaborative pushing of boundaries to ‘go beyond’, to teach and to learn. I aim to offer programs and services that foster curiosity, confidence and the courage to explore our beautiful world.
